Keith has been involved in several startups as VP of Engineering.   He has been the 6th employee at Picturetel (now Polycom).  As a hands-on manager he lead the hardware design effort for the 1st generation product. For the second generation he lead the ASIC development effort. At AT/Comm, Keith has pioneered the electronic toll collection industry and holds several patents in that field. He as also set up off shore manufacturing for the high volume transponder(Taiwan).  From early stages of the company he developed the corporate policies and company infrastructure to deploy systems in Illinois, Maine and other foreign and domestic sites.

At Ergo computing I was charted with the task of product definition/system Hardware Architect for the ERGO BRICK computer.   I hired and managed staff and managed all aspects of mechanical , electronic design as well as compliance submission.  Most notable award was at comdex in 1991 where the ERGO Brick won "Best product" - the award was presented to our President and founder by Bill Gates - I met Bill, Michael Dell, Ray Norda and many others at that time - fun experience !   We also won Time's magazine's product of the year in 1991.   We were the first company to offer an LCD monitor and Docking unit (patents were awarded).

The Ergo Brick was a PC that had a modem, VGA, Floppy Disk, Harddrive (40mbyte!) and it all fit in a briefcase - Mechanical Design was done by Jim Bleck design and his team - Jim has also worked with Polycom to develop the audio and video conferencing systems
